Akwa-Worx provides clients with a wide range of sewage treatment plants from Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) and Biological Nutrient Reduction reactor (BNR) to Membrane bio-reactor (MBR) type plants. The engineering and design is based on our client’s specific requirements and environmental license conditions.
Akwa-Worx designs, builds, tests and pre-commissions each sewage treatment plant at its factory. In addition, Akwa-Worx supervises the fabrication of steel process reactors and control containers sized to the dimensions of a high cube shipping container to enable the use of current transport and shipping. The use of such steel allows Akwa-Worx to build systems in a modular configuration, for an easy and staged expansion of the desired capacity of the sewage treatment plant within a short time frames. The plants are designed in accordance with the reclaimed water quality required and ranges from Class A+, Class A and Class B as a minimum quality of output.
Our process and system design ensures that maximum efficiency and reliability is achieved, with a suitable product lifetime as desired by the client. All this is done with a focus on controlling capital expenditure to an acceptable level with a focus on return on investment and ongoing operating costs on behalf of the client.
